We first met April and Jordan for their engagement session on a cold, winter day, earlier this year. Together, we explored downtown Owen Sound and Inglis Falls, and we couldn't help but be excited as they told us about their upcoming wedding at Jordan's family's cabin. The Keuken family cabin is a place where April and Jordan have spent many great times together. April and Jordan describe it best: "It feels like our space. Middle of nowhere. Nothing but trees, 2 cabins, and a pond. From days and nights there just him and I, to band parties, to family fuctions - it is THE place we love to be."
In stark conrast to the cold weather on the day of their engagement session, April and Jordan's wedding day fell on a warm, sunny day in late July. As April and the girls were getting ready at Jordan's mother's beautiful house on the shores of Georgian Bay, Jordan and the guys were getting dressed at the Keuken family cabin. The guys greeted the guests as they arrived, and then Jordan took his place at the front of the aisle. April's dad walked her down the aisle to meet Jordan in front of the large pond on the family property. They declared their vows and shared their first kiss as husband and wife in front of close family and friends as the sun shone brightly overhead.
We then tagged along as April and Jordan explored the family farm nearby. Back at the cabin, guests were enjoying drinks and games. After April and Jordan returned, a night of delicious food, hearfelt speeches, and epic dancing ensued. And to kick it off, April and Jordan set off floating candles into the pond, and fireworks exploded overhead to congratulate April and Jordan on the first day of the rest of their lives.
Congratulations April and Jordan!
