Mary and Brad planned the most beautiful, intimate, DIY farm wedding that we were so lucky to be a part of! Mary and Brad are one of the most humble and down-to-earth couples that we have ever met. With the help of their closest family and friends, they planned a memorable occasion to celebrate their love. The entire wedding took place on their own farm. When we first arrived, their friends and family were putting the final touches on the beautiful, rustic, barn that would later be the scene of the reception. Their ceremony site was a short walk through their garden, past the chickens and pigs, and up the hill to other end of the farm, which is where Brad saw Mary in her dress for the first time. Their humble, hardworking personalities shone through beautifully; all the way from the DIY decorations to the main course of the meal, Mary and Brad’s own first batch of chickens. The highlights of the day for us included their heartfelt vows, simple and homey surroundings, photos with Mary and Brad’s pigs and dog, and the potluck-style dinner with informal seating and no head table. This was definitely one that we will remember for a long time.
