Jessica + Alex October 8, 2016
Jessica and Alex are fun, adventurous, and very in the moment. Before the hustle and bustle of their day ahead, Jessica and Alex spent some private time alone fishing and reflecting on what was to come. They later got ready at their house: Jessica upstairs, and Alex downstairs. When we first arrived, we found Alex playing N64 and having a few beers with his boys. The backyard at their house was gorgeous, surrounded by trees and with a large pond. This was the scene of their first look, where Alex saw Jessica in her dress for the first time.
It was a short drive to Camp Trillium, the venue that perfectly represented their personalities: outdoorsy, adventurous, and laid back. We ran all around the expansive grounds of the camp, capturing portraits lakeside and in the woods. Their loving and intimate nature made for some stunning shots, where the love between the two was clear. They said "I do" lakeside in front of their friends and family in an intimate, late afternoon ceremony. This led into a beautiful dinner, speeches, and dance party. Finally, we had the privilege of capturing a few night portraits before we had to say our goodbyes. Highlights of the day for us included the evident love between Jessica and Alex, the gorgeous location, and the fun and adventurous atmosphere.
