Pippa + Dave August 26, 2017

We truly enjoy having the opportunity to experience and capture so many unique weddings. As we ourselves grew up and reside in a small town, Pippa and Dave's intimate backyard wedding was one that hit close to our hearts. Pippa began her morning getting ready with her bridesmaids at her mother's beautiful home in the small town of Fergus, Ontario, a scenic town through which the Grand River flows. The decor of the century home perfectly matched Pippa's retro-themed dress.

Next, we stopped by Pippa and Dave's home, where Dave and his crew were getting ready for the day ahead. Dave buttoned his vest and fixed his tie as rain clouds seemed to threaten overhead.

But back at Pippa's mom's house, the rain held off. And as the sun came out, it was there that Dave waited for Pippa at the front of the aisle in front of their closest family and friends. Dave was full of emotion as Pippa's dad walked her down the aisle to hand her off. What followed were some of the most heartfelt and emotional vows that we have ever had the pleasure of witnessing. They embraced and walked up the aisle together for the first time as husband and wife to a surprise bagpiper.

Pippa and Dave mingled and celebrated cocktail hour with their guests, before entering the reception and sharing their first dance together amidst thunderous applause. And as their guests enjoyed an epic homestyle dinner, stories were shared of Pippa and Dave, and their love for each other.

We snuck out just before sunset for portraits along the Elora Gorge with Pippa, Dave, and their wedding party. And as we returned, an epic night of dancing and partying ensues, as friends and family celebrated Pippa and Dave's marriage long into the night.

Congratulations Pippa and Dave!!
